The first step in resolving any dispute is always being aware of the forces involved in the conflict. No matter how good a system or technique is, it will not work if the present situation does not call for it. Your degree of awareness will determine how clearly you can assess the present situation. It all begins with being present. This is where it begins to be very Zen. Awareness or being in the present moment is not only a point of focus but a state of mind. No matter how much you want to be present and objective you are always limited by your past conditioning.
We offer a seminar that helps you deal with your personal dynamics involved in struggling to remain in the present moment. Taoist meditation sees the present as only being the real time frame. It is the only moment where all thought and action is possible. An analysis of the way logical thought works, however, reveals that we operate very little within the present moment.

The first step in being aware and being centered is knowing what to do and how to do it. The next step is one of developing your degree of awareness on inner control. Greater control of the self means greater control of your environment. In this case the conflict you are trying to facilitate. In all conflicts as in all things in life, clarity and control come from being centered within yourself.
