Master Book 2

This is the second book of the Master Saga. My story about overcoming dyslexia, becoming a mind over matter master, living in a world of the unexpected and experiencing the reality that exists between the world all of us think we know so well.

If you have not read book one I strongly suggest that you read that first. This one is not likely to make much sense without it.

David begins traditional temple training. It is not at all what he expected. The environment is tremendously different from what he is accustomed to but not necessarily in ways he had foreseen. While many of the people studying at the temple are unique, even bizarre in some ways; others are surprisingly normal. David jumps right into training and discovers that the whole notion of spiritual development and meditation training is much different than he had expected.

He meets a number of new people who differ greatly from him but at the same time-share a great deal in common with him. Without expecting it he begins to develop bonds with these new people. David becomes frustrated and impatient. He came to the temple to do advanced training but instead he feels that he is beginning to be settling into normal life. Just when he begins to doubt his decision, he gets accepted into the advanced training program. It turns out to be even more wonderful and demanding than he had expected.

He wakes up early and practice centuries old meditative and martial art skills. He experiences universal energy and sees and experiences things he never has before. Along with all of this he begins to live a contemporary life with his new friends. The contrast between ancient practices and the modern-day living is striking but somehow after a time seems to fit together. He begins to discover that temple life is not all always filled with tranquil meditation. Alongside the training, the politics of the group begins to surface. He quickly realizes that the temple is not always a calm and peaceful place. It is filled with intrigues, rivalries and dangers that he is slowly being drawn into.
