Development, Change and Quality of Thinking

As a business consultant and a life coach, I have observed this same scenario many times, with a range of different clients. Both in business and as a life coach working with individuals, I use a unique approach that increases the effectiveness of individuals and organizations by modifying the way they do things.
Most of us tend to believe that the direction of our life is determined by the ideas to have. We have come to believe that our success comes down to how much we know or how much information we have.
We live in an empirical society. We’re taught the value of knowledge from childhood. Our academic system is set up to value and process information. It’s essential to have the correct information to make the right decisions. As such, it’s our cognitive ability that makes us successful as a species.
All this seems to make sense, and like most of you for a time, I also believed this was the way things worked. However, at an early age, my life took me in the direction that called this belief into question. My journey has unequivocally proven to me that the ideas and knowledge we value so highly in our lives are only the surface manifestation of more fundamental forces of the mind.
Far indeed from what we have come to believe about our thinking and how it shapes our lives is a new way of thinking about thinking. That being that other aspects shape ideas themselves outside of our thinking. I call this the How we think or the Quality of our thinking. The concept is at once fundamentally simple and infinitely complex. Its application has pragmatic results and immediate implications as well as more profound far-reaching ones.
Changing the quality of our thinking has immediate effects on the results of our thinking and the interactions we have in our life. Our conversation becomes clearer, and we gain greater control over a situation. The efforts made on projects become more comfortable, more fluid, and more productive.
Long term improvements to the quality of our thinking will have lasting effects on the quality of our life. We will make decisions that are more in line with our desired direction. We will experience life more fully and develop to be a more balanced and happier person.
The direction that we take in our life will be due, in no small part to the Quality of our Thinking. By the Quality of thinking, I’m not only referring to how effective it is but also the tone or texture of it. In other words, how clear is it; how dynamic; how flexible; how balanced. These elements not only define the quality of our thinking but also determine the nature of the results.
If this all seems a little too esoteric or difficult to understand; don’t be alarmed. Most of our reality is defined and interpreted by our conscious thought. The Quality of Thinking isn’t something that naturally fits into the cognitive context. Most of us assume that other non-cognitive aspects of our thinking are inherent in our nature, and we can do anything to change them.
I define cognitive thinking as being images and concepts on a timeline. For many of us, this is understood as being all our conscious thought.
My journey led me to uncover the mysteries of the mind’s layers. This allowed me to not only understand them but also to amalgamate and apply them to make lasting changes in my life.
Teaching people how to access and enhance the Quality of Thinking has been my passion for many years. I have developed a robust system of mental development that has displayed consistent and lasting results. This last decade demonstrated an openness towards the development of the Quality of Thinking.
