In advanced programs, a guide is almost essential. However, finding a guide that is qualified and will fit with you is extremely challenging. I discuss the reasons for this later in the third book of this series The Unstoppable Power Workout. Most of you will not need a guide in beginning Finding Your Center programs. Especially if your goal is primarily to get closer to your center to increase your awareness and performance in your life.
Finding a guide that will work for you may be very difficult. Thankfully, I have taught a great many people for a great many years. This has given me enough experience to give you some pretty good guidelines for setting up your own self-directed program. To make appreciable progress in Finding Your Center, a directed program is essential. There exist today many guided meditations and guided programs. Usually, they consist of audio of video meditation that you will follow.
These are helpful perhaps to make you relax. To make real life-changing progress, however, meditation needs to be real-time. Meditation is a present moment endeavor. The power of meditation is that it is a present moment for this reason recorded attempts to guide you will always fall short.
Years ago, a created a CD which contained a series of chants to assist in meditation. Although it sold well, I did not find it very useful to assist in meditation. Meditation needs to be completely present to have the desired effects.
Although every program needs to be specific to the person taking it, there exist commonalities. I have a great deal of experience setting up programs and working with students. I also have a sound ability to turn things which is difficult to quantify into usable procedures. (Turing soft skills into pragmatic skills) I have successfully created methods to metrics soft skills in businesses in order to generate meaningful data. My development programs in businesses generally affect the bottom line. Businesses will not pay for nebulous results.
