Visualization & Fantasizing

What is the difference between visualizing and fantasy? This is quite simply the same as the difference between fantasy and reality.  The internal properties of the spirit are always the same as the external properties of the world it lives in. How can it be any different they are both made of the same elements and inhabit the same universe. Reality is ordered and has substance, while the fantasy is chaotic and has no substance. Reality is immovable and steadfast while the fantasy holds no ground and can be swept away at the slightest change or influence. In thought, these properties remain the same.  Fantasy takes little effort to conjure and can be blown about by the slightest of outside influences. In fact, it is made manifest by influences of the outside world.  Attachment and desire are its creators.

Visualization, disciplined thought is the action of creating substance from thought. It is the voice of the spirit sending out its words into the universe it inhabits.  It is an active thought.  In practice, it is holding the one image or the one decision against the pressures of the outside. It is the innovators who truly create the world we live in. They initiate change thought about the power of their spirits.  It is always the innovators’ form whom the path is hardest, yet they grow spiritually in ways that can not be measured. Many of you have often heard the expression writer’s block or creative block.  I have written a great deal can say that the action that requires the most effort is always the one that requires originality. Creating something completely different for the first time; not copying or following pre-determined steps.  This takes time & effort, but it is not often hard.  It does not bring up barriers that lead the spirit to say that this is impossible.

People often have to be pushed by the forces of their lives to activate and utilize their true creative abilities.  When you begin to experience just how much energy it takes to truly create something new you begin to understand why. By something new and unique; I just don’t mean a slight variation on an already new idea.  Although even this requires power and can not be discounted. When I talk about original though, I mean creating something that has never been conceived before. Something that does not come from outside influences, but comes from a voice deep inside that is driving you. The more we begin to change and shape our lives through the power of our spirits the more we begin to become the power source. The Gait describes it as being the center of your field.  The brighter your light burns the less other lights will affect you and the more chance you have of seen things through your eyes and not those of others.
